Own Place Runners

Registration for own place runners is now open – to enter simply visit the official Brighton Marathon site here and click the ‘ENTER’ button. Then get in touch with one of our Sussex County Fundraisers (details at the bottom of this page) to let us know that you would like to be part of our team of runners dedicated to helping to keep the Air Ambulance flying and saving lives across the county.

Charity Place Runners

Our official charity places are available to runners who are happy to commit to a minimum fundraising target of £500, and pay a deposit of £45 at time of registration. We will give you lots of advice and support to help you in your fundraising challenge, and we are just a phone call or email away if you have any questions. Please download our application form here or contact us if you would like one sent in the post. These places are available now!

Our Team

We like all of our runners to feel part not only of the Brighton Marathon team, but also of our Air Ambulance supporters’ network. To this end, we will provide all our runners, Own Place and Charity Place, with:

• Sponsor forms and fundraising pack with all you need to help you make the most of your fundraising efforts
• Ongoing support and advice from our fundraising team
• Training guides
• Air Ambulance Running Vest
• Pre-race meeting with opportunity to meet our crew and see the helicopter (subject to emergency call outs). We hope also to repeat our 2010 training run.
• Goody-bag
• Incredibly vocal and enthusiastic cheering squads to help you along the route! Our 2010 runners found this to be a huge help!
• Post race reception and thank-you meeting.
