A charity dinner at the Grosvenor Casino Hove
raised £1091 for the Sussex Air Ambulance service. Casino regulars were
invited to attend the specially created 6 course dinner service prepared by the
Casino's head chef.
Conor Toner,
the general manager at Grosvenor Casino Hove said: "The Sussex Air Ambulance is
doing a fantastic job providing swift emergency support throughout the county
and we should all support them in whatever way we can. This event was our way
of backing such a worthy cause and we hope we can make this a regular
occurrence."
Delaine
Shearman, Charity Fundraiser for the Sussex Air Ambulance said: "The Sussex Air
Ambulance does not receive government or National Lottery funding so we're
wholly dependent on donations from the public. Conor and the team at Grosvenor
Casinos have done a brilliant job organising this event and we're definitely
going to put that money to good use - saving lives!"
