Mr Bill Brien was
picked up by the Air Ambulance in 2007 after a serious car crash. He is now
severely disabled and on crutches, and is, with the help of Hastings & St.
Leonards Veterans Association, undertaking a sponsored wheelchair push, to say
thank you to Sussex Air Ambulance for the help given when he was injured.
The push will take
place on Saturday 13rd March and will start at 10am from Eastbourne Town Hall,
ending at the London Trader Public House on Hastings seafront which is 22 miles. The Secretay of the Veteran's Assocation, Councillor Richard Vallery-Peters,
will be the lead pusher.
